A 4-panel Japanese gilt screen from Late Edo period to Meiji period. Hand painted with mineral pigments on gold leaf paper, featuring a lovely Spring scenery with a pine tree, peonies and flying birds around them. Mineral pigments on gold gilt paper with silk brocade border and handcrafted copper hardware.

 

寺岛白耀, is the artist from mid Edo Period. This screen is in good condition with vivid color and artist’s signature and seal on lower left of the screen.
